Another edition of the Power of Interfaces workshop, POI24, took place in Mallorca from April 3rd to 5th, 2024. This was the fourth edition of this successful workshop, where we have built a great community of researchers and companies dedicated to the field of ceramic materials for energy applications. POI24 was organized by four European funded projects: 24_7 ZEN Project, HarveStore, EpiStore, and HyP3D.
The event held a summer school for youth researchers, project meetings and the workshop where prospects for innovation and advancement in the energy sector were showed by demonstrating the potential of collaboration and knowledge sharing among the participants. This year the event held its 4th edition in Mallorca, where they discussed the latest advances in:
• New materials for energy
• Solid-state devices for energy storage and conversion
• Advanced manufacturing
• Advanced characterization techniques
• Modelling
• Micro and nanotechnologies for energy devices

This are Epistore members that presented their last results during the POI24 event: Mónica Burriel, Alexander Bonkowski, Jan Pieter Ouseltjes, Nicoleta Muresan, Rahul Majee, Miriam Botros, Matthew Wells, Antoine Duhain and Marlene Anzergruber.
In addition to the engaging scientific presentations, the PoI24 event offered ample opportunities for informal networking. Participants enjoyed a welcome reception at a microbrewery, where they sampled local craft beer and food. Invited speakers and project leaders were treated to a gala dinner at Xalest restaurant. On the final evening, the popular Moltabarra bar was recommended for socializing, featuring entertainment and vermouth.
